Rev. Dr. Ruth Miller will lead the worship service for Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 13th from 10 until 11:00 a.m. at the Florence Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
When Mother’s Day was created it was to honor the women who had sacrificed so much during the Civil War. Since then we’ve expanded it to include all women who’ve mothered children. As our culture evolves we’re realizing that mothering is not just about giving birth, and not just about women. Join Dr. Ruth Miller and the Florence Unitarian Universalist Fellowship as they discover and celebrate the Mother in all of us.
